Frederico Knapp was elected by the Board of Directors on Thursday (12/12) and will take office on 12/20. Marcos Falcão continues as CEO and Investor Relations Officer
IRB(Re) informed, this thursday morning (12/12), in a statement sent to the market, that Frederico Knapp is the company’s new Chief Financial Officer. The executive takes over, on 12/20, the position occupied, on an interim basis, by Marcos Falcão, who continues as CEO and Investor Relations Officer.
With a degree in business administration from Universidade Paulista (Unip), an MBA in international business from Nova Southeastern University (NSU) and an MBA in finance, controllership and auditing from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), Knapp has more than 20 years of professional experience in the insurance market. In the last ten years, he has served at Swiss Re as president Brazil and leader of Reinsurance Brazil and Southern Cone, as well as CFO and COO. He also worked at the ACE Group, between 2001 and 2014.
