Encouraging the national culture through sponsorship, IRB Brasil RE, the leading reinsurance company in Brazil, is among the companies responsible for the most famous musical in the world performance in the country. The Phantom of the Opera arrives on stage at Teatro Renault, in São Paulo, on August 1, and runs until December.
“We are very proud to contribute with such projects, and we believe that our company plays a fundamental role in this scenario, not only as a sponsor but as a promoter for Brazilian culture. With this, we want to make a difference for our customers, partners, and society, acting proactively in the search for projects aligned with our values”, explains Daniele Sibucs, marketing and communication manager at IRB Brasil RE.
At a press conference to launch the show held this Thursday (07/26/18), in the capital of São Paulo, sponsors of the initiative to bring the musical to Brazil were mentioned as determinants for the assembly to be as great here as in others countries. “It would be impossible to hold this show with the quality it requires, both cast and production, without the companies that support culture”, said Renata Alvim, general manager of T4F Theater Division, responsible for the Brazilian assembly organization.
The Phantom of the Opera promises to thrill Brazilian audiences with the fascinating story of the young Christine, Raoul and the Phantom of the Opera from Paris. Andrew Lloyd Weber’s original Broadway production has already been seen for more than 140 million people in 35 countries and won more than 70 major theater awards, including the Tony Awards for Best Musical.
