IRB Brasil RE announced Cesar Cavalcante is the reinsurer’s new Claims Officer. Working for more than 40 years in the insurance and reinsurance market, the executive was Antônio Cássio dos Santos’, CEO and chairperson of the Board of Directors of the company, direct assistant.
“The objective is keep making efforts and contributing to IRB’s management. We are reinforcing the strict analysis of claim processes, and we have made the timely payment of the obligations, what is essential for the market, considering the economically uncertain moment due to the pandemics”, says the new Claims officer.
Cesar Cavalcante, who worked for leading companies in the insurance sector, shall be responsible for national and international claims management, in addition to the technical accounts sector, directly reporting to IRB’s Technical and Operations Executive Officer, Wilson Toneto.

Yesterday at night (September 01st), in a notice sent to the shareholders, IRB informed the company’s Board of Directors, in a meeting performed on August 28th, confirmed the election of the officers provided for in the articles: Isabel Blazquez Solano as Reinsurance Executive Officer; Wilson Toneto as Technical and Operations Executive Officer; and Carlos Guerra as Risks, Compliance and Legal Executive Officer. The three of them already took office.
