IRB Brasil RE has announced that Facundo Jorge Montenegro will head the reinsurer\u2019s operation at the Buenos Aires office, in Argentina. With more than 40 years of experience in the market, most of them in the financial and insurance \u2013 mainly for property and people \u2013 sectors, the new officer will work directly with the IRB Brasil RE Reinsurance Executive Vice President, Isabel Blazquez Solano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIRB is among the 10 first reinsurers in the Argentinian market. To expand our market share, we are focused on supporting our clients aiming at the generation of more profitable businesses. We will align our operation with the needs of the market, creating synergies and identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation,\u201d says Facundo, highlighting that the office will operate in the Argentinian market, but also in Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Uruguay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Specialist in Damages and Liabilities, Facundo served as Executive President at Companhia de Seguros La Occidental and at Zurich Seguros, both in Venezuela. He also served as Technical Officer for Property at Liberty, in Argentina.
