The premiums issued to Brazilian reinsurers increased 28.9% in September this year, in comparison with the same period of the previous year, accumulating an increase of 30.3% in the first nine months of 2020 in contrast with 2019. It is so according to the Newsletter IRB+Mercado, which marks, today (November 23rd<\/sup>), the launching of the new data intelligence service by IRB Brasil RE: IRB+Intelig\u00eancia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report, in Portuguese, also points out the premium issued by the insurers increased 17.4% in September, considering the same period in 2019, with an increase of 3.6% from January to September, 2020. “The figures indicate a resume of the activities. Having access to quality information and analyzing behaviors and trends are premises for understanding how our sector works”, says IRB’s CEO and chairperson of the Board of Directors, Ant\u00f4nio C\u00e1ssio dos Santos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The newsletter IRB+Mercado summarizes the insurance and reinsurance operations from the public data made available by Susep, focusing on damages, liability and personal insurances. The analysis, which shall be published on a monthly basis, is completely available at the company’s website (www.irbe.com<\/a>). At the same webpage, IRB also offers a dashboard with interactive data, allowing dynamic consulting on the data. The Dashboard IRB+Mercado Segurador, as it is called, was developed by the reinsurer, being free, easy to use and bringing information in Portuguese regarding all the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This service emerges from the need for providing the market and everyone interested in it with consolidated, reliable and structured information. We developed a dashboard to assure everyone has dynamic and fast access to the data, as we offer a monthly view”, says IRB Brasil RE’s Client, Innovation and Marketing Officer, Lucas Mello, adding the service shall have other publications soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
